Large vintage dining table / desk by Ate van Apeldoorn
Large vintage dining table or desk designed by Ate van Apeldoorn and produced in his own workshop Houtwerk Hattem in the 1970s. Crafted from solid pine, the table consists of three parts that are expertly joined using visible finger joints (box joints), a signature detail that highlights the craftsmanship and construction. The clean lines and honest use of materials reflect the minimalist and functional design philosophy of the maker. Over the years, the surface has developed a beautiful lived-in patina, adding character and warmth to the piece. Suitable as a dining table or a spacious desk, this is a versatile and authentic design object. The table is in good vintage condition with visible signs of use consistent with its age (see photos).
